Some Things I Missed

Here are a few things that I was not able to post in all the craziness of Tobyn's early arrival, but I still think that their cute!

MOTHER'S DAY

For Mother's Day my parents came up and we spent the day going to church and then out to Lake Mary for a barbecue. The girls got to bring their fishing poles and play in the water. We all had fun watching Rayna play with the water dogs that Daniel had bought for bait. They became her new best friends, even though she practically killed them by picking them up so much and squeezing them so tight. When it was time to go home and Daddy told her it was time to put them in the water, she was a total disaster. She really thought she was going to be able to bring them home with her!

Kisses for the baby!

I actually made their dresses!

CUTE MOMENTS WITH THE GIRLS!

Do you remember jelly shoes! Oh, I do! They were my favorite pair of shoes to wear in the summer time. I remember thinking they were so beautiful! It's funny how things always seem to come back around, because my girls seem to feel the same way about their shoes!

On this morning Rayna woke up all by herself and had gotten herself dressed in her favorite dress and shoes all by herself. She came into my room and woke me up all dressed and ready to go, so proud of herself! Lately, she is all about dresses! There is not a day that she does not want to wear a dress!

Hanging with the Family

We haven't done anything too exciting around here lately. Tobyn and I have pretty much been taking it easy. He sleeps, eats, and poops, which makes my life pretty easy right now because I do a lot of sleeping with him! Yesterday he had his circumcision (which was pretty sad) and he weighed 4lbs 9 oz. He has another appointment tomorrow and I'm curious to see what he will weigh. I'm looking forward to the 5lbs mark so that we can change his car seat! Right now he is in what is called a car bed, and he is suppose to stay in it until he reaches 5lbs, but I think he's really pushing it! So, here are some pictures of us being lazy around the house, getting to know Tobyn!

He's Here!

Tobyn Daniel Phillips arrived a little early on Thursday evening, May 14, 2009 at 5:22pm. He weighed in at 4lbs 2oz! Definitely our smallest baby! He ended up coming by C/Section for several of reasons, but the biggest one was he popped his head up breech! Go figure, he had been head down for weeks! He spent 6 days in our Special Care Nursery, mainly for temperature and feeding issues, and is now at home with us doing great! I am still recovering and we are taking things very easy and slow for the both of us. I sure like having babies the natural way instead of surgery, but God is Good and Tobyn is here with us and healthy! Here's a few pictures of him and I'll try to post more later!
