Summer Girls!

The girls love to have their picture taken, so we went out in our front yard on our deck to enjoy the summer air. Taylin tries to be quite the poser and Rayna just wants to do her own thing, oh yeah, she's two!

Rayna's 2nd Birthday

I can't believe Rayna is two years old! She is developing into quite a unique personality. It is her second birthday, but if you ask her how old she is, she will tell you she's four! Ever since sissy birthday she is four, too! And there is no convincing her otherwise! Rayna had a fun little BBQ with her cousins and grandparents, and she ate up all the attention! When it came time to sing to her, she dance in her chair as everyone sang and then blew out all her candles by herself! I think her chocolate cake ended up more on her face and clothes, but she loved every bite! June 7, 2008

Taylin's 4th Birthday Party!

Taylin has wanted her 4th Birthday party to be at Peter Piper Pizza for along time, so she was so excited when the day finally came. She actually chose to have her party at Peter Piper verses a princess party! Amazing! She had several friends and family come (including both sets of grandparents which was so exciting for her). She loved all the games, people, presents, and especially the cake (a princess cake). Before the party Taylin had been obessed with everyone bringing her a presents, so I had been trying to teach her that nobody has to give her a present and we are just inviting them to come and help her celebrate her birthday. If they bring a present thats nice, but its not something she should expect. Inspite of all this,I was feeling like a failure and she just wasn't getting it. Presents were still her obession. So, after the party we were talking about all the presents she got and how nice it was of everybody to bring her a present and she told me with a very serious tone, "Mom, everyone brought me a present. I need to thank them all again." She does occassionaly listen to me, its amazing! April 24, 2008

Beginning Our Adventures in Blogging!

So, today I am starting our first blogspot! After many appeals from my in-laws, husband, and people at work, I have started to venture off into this new adventure of blogging! I actually got convinced when a doctor I work with showed me his facebook page and told me he did it all himself. So, I decided if he has time to do this, then I guess so do I! Here goes! Just have patience with me, because I'm sure I won't be very good at this for a while! Actually today I've loaded one picture and it's time for me to go to work and the picture is from 2 months ago!
