Soccer!

I'm learning what it's like to really be a soccer mom. Both girls are enjoying their soccer season, and I'm enjoying taxing them around and cheering them on. They are so different. Rayna has been fun to watch. She gets in the middle of all the commotion with the ball or she is the leader. Her last game she scored 5 goals! It's been enjoying to watch Taylin's team actually figuring out some of the strategy to the game verses just running back and forth. Right now she likes being goalie!

Tobyn's Finally Steppin OUT!

He's fourteen months today, and is just getting his courage up to walk. He's not completely there yet, but he's made a lot more progress the last couple of days. He still is probably crawling more than he's walking, but he is attempting a lot more to walk! He is definitely my late bloomer, yet he climbs on more things already than the girls to this day. I guess that's a boy for you, at least that's what people tell me!

Tobyn's favorite obstacle course is weaving in and out of these chairs.

Here he comes!

4th of July

Since we have had so many forest fires lately, there was no fireworks in Flagstaff. So, we headed down to the Phoenix heat and celebrated our Independence Day there with family and friends. I honestly did not do a good job taking pictures, but we did have a lot of fun. My sister BBQ'd, the kids played on the slip-n-slide, we had a game of water balloon volleyball, and then headed out for fireworks. The next day was a water filled day as well. We watched my newphews' diving practice (they can do some pretty amazing things) and then went to my brothers' to go swimming. It was definitely a time full of fun in the sun! So, here are the few pictures I took!

She Lost Her First Tooth!

It took her several weeks, but it finally came out! She was so nervous and scared and now that it is out she is excited for the next one to come out, too(which it is on the way!)!

Swimming Lessons!

The girls finished up their swimming lessons last week and they both have improved so much. Rayna has even improved since last week! It's amazing what someone else can do with my children!

This is Taylin
Rayna in her swim class

The first day Rayna used one of these kick boards she came home with this awful abrasion on the bottom of her chin from resting it on the board! It was pretty sad.
